New England Lodge

Ref: 228 / Newton Ferrers

Inside, you’ll find simple yet luxurious interiors, creating a harmonious space in which to unwind. The open-plan living space has two large sofas on which to sprawl, whilst the dining table lies next to the bi-fold glass doors that lead out onto the deck. The sleek, white kitchen has everything you need to make the most of tasty local produce all neatly tucked away behind cupboards. There are two en suite bedrooms, both with king-size beds. One bedroom has direct access onto a deck which overlooks the River Yelm and woodland, whilst the other also has a deck with table and chairs. Both en suites have underfloor heating, walk-in showers with drench heads and heated towel rails. Surrounded by woodland, making the most of the great outdoors is a real highlight here! To the front of the lodge lies a sun-soaked deck with table, chairs and a gas barbeque, whilst the two bedrooms have their own private decks. Nestled in the garden is a fabulous bubbling hot tub, lovely during the day but magical at night when you can watch the stars above you. In addition, there’s a wetland area with two ponds, extensive wider grounds and the Devon Nature Reserve to explore too. Tucked away in South Devon, you’re within walking distance is a gorgeous private lake, accessible during the summer months, perfect for barbeques and picnics - just get in touch with the owners to arrange. From the stunning coastline which includes Salcombe and Dartmouth to the wilds of Dartmoor there’s plenty to explore, whilst pop over the border into Cornwall and you’ll find the unspoilt Tamar Valley and the coastline of Rame Head.
